The tool consists of:
MAKER = Video Thumbnails Maker
Picture Thumbnail Viewer = VIEWER
The main advantage of the VIEWER is that you can start related video-files right from the thumbnail gallery.
Moreover, you can begin watching the video from the moment that the thumbnail shot was taken!
It is necessary to generate VTX picture files.

MAKER’s Key Features:
It is generated from a “set” of files (pictures in a folder or an archive); for example, if you add a folder with 3 zip archive files and 8 pictures in it – 4 sheets will be generated (3 for the archives and 1 for the 8 pictures).
There are a lot of options and special effects (see screenshots above); you can view a rendered visual preview of your settings at any time in the Options window
Five customizable presets (see examples above); a special matrix (not MxN) with large tiles
Utilizing separate tiles of your sheets, you can automatically generate GIF-animations and HTML Galleries
The active job can be paused or continued at any time, or it can be stopped
Format preset for options files (*.ptm). After running a preset, the tuning is automatically imported to the program
CLI (Command Line Interface, only works with activated versions)
The MAKER fully supports ZIP, 7Z, and RAR archives



VIEWER’s Key Features:
You can manage pictures without worrying about their location since Zip and 7z archives are fully transparent to the program. If a picture is located in a Zip or 7z archive, the program will automatically update the archive with the latest version
The VIEWER is partly transparent to RAR archives (only automatic unpacking); you can still look through pictures in RAR archives, but you cannot delete/rename any files in such archives (RAR license restrictions).
Pictures Thumbnails Viewer uses the .ptx file extension for its thumbnail gallery and can be opened with any file manager by double-clicking on the file.
You can start videos from the thumbnail sheet of .vtx files (produced by Video Thumbnails Maker) in the Viewer; those are produced by Video Thumbnails Maker
The Pictures Thumbnails Viewer keeps a record of your travels through thumbnail sheets, allowing you to jump from one to another using the Escape and Backspace keys.
The viewer allows you to modify any part of the thumbnail sheet as well as regenerate the entire sheet
When you move your mouse cursor to the right screen border (somewhere in the middle), detailed picture information appears.
