Active Undelete Ultimate Feature Summary
Recover deleted Files/Folders
As its name implies, Active UNDELETE recovers lost files by scanning the drive where they were deleted, browsing the scan results in a familiar Windows-like browser, searching and filtering the results, selecting the desired files, and restoring them to a safe location. View the scan results to ensure the detected files are exactly what you need. The DEMO version has some limitations.
Scan for Deleted Partitions
Sometimes, the files on a certain drive don’t appear to exist anymore. Either the partition has been deleted or the partition has been overwritten. In such a case, you still have a chance to recover some data! Using the software, you can locate deleted partitions and scan them to find and recover lost or detected files.
Scan for files by their signatures
Files with unique format specifications (signature) can be found by Active UNDELETE even if files do not exist in the File Table. Detailed information on supported formats can be found in the following table.
Restore detected partition
Have you lost your partition? Whether it was accidentally deleted or if malicious software was responsible, there is still a chance to restore it if it hasn’t been overwritten yet. Check the Hard Drive for deleted partitions, then use the Restore command to recover the partition! Important data should be restored first.
Working with a corrupted RAID system
It is possible to virtually recreate a disassembled RAID array using Active UNDELETE, as well as recover some of the files on the array.
With Active UNDELETE’s Partition Manager, you can create, format, and delete basic partition operations. During partition recovery, it can be helpful.
Work with Disk Editor
Using template dialog boxes, you can manipulate partition table and boot sector attributes for advanced operations.
